You'll probably notice that the Steam bought copy of Dungeon Siege 1 has the multiplayer button either greyed out or disabled by displaying a message printing 'Disabled' .
To overcome this, simply either edit the shortcut on your desktop (Or where-ever you put it) by right clicking the it, heading to properties and editing the 'Target' box properties. At the end of the quotation marks simply add zonematch=true .
